Our player allows changing of file preferences; CorePlayer can be set to be the default player for any supported format by doing the following;

- Start CorePlayer
- Goto Tools > Preferences > File Associations
- Choose the files types you want to play with CorePlayer or choose select all.

Depending on how other programs are configured, they may or may not use our player. Generally speaking, if the file is downloaded, then opened on the device, our player will play the file.

For streaming, programs will most likely not use our player, unless they download and open a playlist first.
